HELLO.

I discovered art as a teenager growing up in the hidebound suburbs of New Jersey. After taking drawing, watercolor, and Chinese calligraphy classes, I found acrylic paints and never looked back.

I fell in love with abstract art in my late teens/early twenties. In my time since then, I went to university and graduate school and ended up in healthcare. The past ten years, I lost touch with creating art for almost the entirety of that time; by fate & circumstance, I had a chance to rediscover art -- and myself -- during a much needed sabbatical.

I'm inspired by so much around me -- you may notice that I don't necessarily follow a particular formula or style. If I have a gestalt, it is fearless experimentation. Recently, I've been working on a series called Music which I want to have a cohesive feel, but still be individualistic when viewed as separate pieces.

I hope you enjoy exploring my creations as much as I did making them.

Cheers,

Tara
